Where I Live, the Wind Has Opinions
I'm rooted in a tiny East Yorkshire village where the hedgerows gossip and the weather likes to test your character before breakfast. My degree is in Herbal Medicine, but the real education began long before any classroom — in gardens, hedgerows, and the quiet conversation between a woman and her plants.
The land here roots me. The plants instruct me. And something older walks beside me every time I step outside with a basket. This isn't where I ended up. It's where I was always going.
