Muck & Magic Hand Lotion
For Hands That Work The Soil
Your hands know when the work is done.
This is what they reach for.
Muck & Magic is for the moment after the digging, the planting, the pulling back of brambles and weeds.
When the soil has worked its way into your skin, and your hands feel it — dry, tight, used.
This is where the work leaves your hands.

How it feels
It does exactly what it says on the tin. It puts back what the day took out. The mango butter and rice bran oil are there to deal with the rough, thickened patches that snag on everything, while the jojoba mimics your skin’s own oils to help it recover. It leaves your hands feeling like yours again—not coated, not stripped, just right.
Made for
Not for perfect hands. For real ones.
The ones that have been in the soil. The ones that have done something today.
Gardening strips the life out of your skin. The soil sucks the moisture away, and the weather does the rest. This lotion is built on plantain-infused olive oil—something herbalists have reached for forever to sort out the wear and tear of working outside. It’s there to take the edge off the soreness and help your skin find its feet again.
The Ritual
This is the second half of the ritual. Once the soap has done its job, this is the pause before you get on with your evening. It’s a proper moment of relief. You don't need a lecture on why it works; you just feel that tightness go as the mango butter and jojoba get to work.
This is the moment where the work leaves your hands.
Use whenever your skin asks for it.
It usually knows.
The Detail
Notes & Scent
It’s a proper, substantial lotion, but it doesn't leave you feeling like you’ve dipped your hands in a chip fryer. Because of the jojoba and the plantain infused olive oil, it sinks in quickly but you can still feel that it’s actually there, doing something. It’s got a smooth, silky slip to it that makes your skin feel supple again, almost immediately.
The scent is just the garden. You get that initial sharp hit of rosemary and lemon eucalyptus, but then it settles down into something much warmer. It’s got that resinous depth from the frankincense and benzoin, and then that soft, green lift from the cyclamen and linden blossom. It doesn't smell like a perfume counter; it smells like a greenhouse after the rain has settled.

The Honest Bit
This lotion is made to care for your skin — not to replace medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment.
While the ingredients are chosen with purpose and experience, every body is different, and results will vary.
Always patch test before use (yes, even if you’re impatient).
If irritation occurs, stop using it and speak to someone medically qualified — not your neighbour, not Google.
External use only.
Keep out of eyes, and out of reach of small, curious humans.
Use with common sense. Your skin will usually tell you what it thinks.
